Unlock the mysteries of the Eight Extraordinary Vessels in this immersive weekend workshop. Delve into the rich history and clinical applications of these powerful channels that regulate and integrate the 12 main meridians. Over the weekend, we will visit and deepen our understanding of their clinical applications and the role they play within our clinical practice.
Learn specialized techniques to work with the Ren, Du, Chong, Dai and Wei Vessels from an experienced teacher. Locate and palpate the pathways, master points and intersections along each vessel. Discover how to assess imbalances and use the Extraordinary Vessels to address reproductive issues, emotional disturbances, pain, weakness and more. Through this work, we will aim for a greater understanding of their use in the balancing of one’s physical, emotional and spiritual energies to assist living in this modern-day world.
Experience hands-on partner work and receive in-depth handouts. This weekend workshop will have a strong practical focus as we work on accessing these vessels using body release work and the holding of pairs. Gain confidence incorporating these vessels into your shiatsu/acupuncture/bodywork sessions for deeper healing. Whether you’re new to the Eight Extras or want to expand your skills, this course provides a foundation in this unique and transformative aspect of Oriental medicine.
Leave feeling empowered to tap into the tremendous healing potential of the Extraordinary Vessels.
